Gun off for small fovs, gun on for 100+
r_mode 6, 4 or 3
Fov 90-100 tbh, unless on widescreen it shud be 115.

rofl. its equal to 75 fov or somth on normal screen xD

If you want "90" fov on widescreen, use 106

I used it for 1,5 years before I came to my senses. It boosted my skill from med to high.

The only really universally beneficial aim settings would be 125 FPS + 120Hz monitor refresh rate. The rest are all user preference.

More import is having a comfortable place where you play. My current desk is too high so the height my hand is at, is above the level my elbow is at!

Need a new desk soon :(

I have to sit on three cusions! and it's annoying.. just don't feel comfortable at all.

When everything isn't perfect on my setup I get easily irritated when playing ET.

Well it's a fact that lower than default m_pitch helps really much if your aim is shit.

r_mode 4 is 800x600 if im right?!?

im playing with that too, when i swtiched from my 1440x900, it gave me the feeling of having more time to aim, cuz of the impression of the shorter way ;D

but i think its just personal preference :D
