private (?) et committee

I plan to make an own et-communittee with who I'm gonna consult several things (eg. regarding mappool etc.). You might have seen the way I consulted some things regarding tournaments I supervise already. I already got a plan how to do it hovewer I may reconsider my point of view after hearing / reading some good points.

Who in your opinion should be in?
Maybe it's you ? If yes, why you should be in?

Let's have an ET parliament which elects the ET committee for a defined number of seasons. Let's have ET parties which either support 6v6 or 5v5 and then TosspoT can be a LAN-lobbyist only interested in making money.

I thought we might as well have a two party system: the conservatives are pro 6v6, MG & mortar, battery and oasis in the mappool etc. Of course there are Palin-esque mavericks which noone really likes.

it's more important to have people who understand the game/meta-game. it's no use having high skillers who have absolutely no idea why they are high skilled (Not that it's a bad thing but they really shouldn't be the ones influencing gameplay)

why not ask the community to nominate people every 3 months and then vote on them form a committee with the admins?/

haha but putting everything behind closed doors is just like a dictatorship sorry

atleast having a proper vote gives a connection between players of the game and those who manage the competitions they play in and gives a sense of community which is what et needs

so even if most of the active posters here on cf are flamers, trollers or whatever atleast let them vote for their committee members

I want a members that can give a proper feedback from maps. I want intelligent people who are able to take part in constructive discussion. I want people who can help me make a good decision about mappool for next EC/OC season. For me, you can be a total noname but if you are able to follow actively in discussion, you're worth an invite. But if you want to keep trolling, get lost.

only people which are active and have experience. active managers,admins,players,blabla.. aslong as they are playing or working with "highskilled" teams and are active.
