if you do it that way there wouldnt be anything funny, think about it when hide and seek is played like this random stuff happens that makes the gameplay fun. people fail, you laugh, but when its played as you just explained it wouldnt happen so much you would just stand still for 10 min, and then its all over nothin happens, no one does anything, no crazy stuff happens

we played it like that for a while with only covert ops. So no reviving etc. But with reviving it's way more fun. Often seekers have hiders cornered but they still get out through teamwork & reviving and screwing some of your fellow hiders over, which resulted in very funny situations and much more exciting gameplay.
