rank 19 in the whole world?
no, Starcraft2 has divisions a 100players... i am just 19th in mine (meanwhile even 11th, that signature thing does update every 10h or so..), but diamond is the highest division you can reach... there is a overall overview here:

OK i start to play this shit for 500.000$.
85 grand to the winner... wtf cc8 needs to have a 1million dollar ET tourney
lol i've never lost in my past duels (1300 duels - 0 lost)
85700 ?!? luuullzzz.
If you wanna win money in this tournament, you gotta go to South Korea though.

Where can I download this game?
only problem is sc2 sucks and isn't very fun to watch

proleague final this weekend, bisu is gonna RAPE THE SHIT out of flash (well, that's hoping they get to play vs each other)
LoL watching starcraft? Why don't you play it instead of watching people play?!

What a fucking nerd.
Parent
because watching is fun, i watch sc2 games and i've never played a sc nor sc2 multiplayer match

WHY DON'T YOU ACT IN MOVIES INSTEAD OF WATCHING PEOPLE ACT ??!?!?!?!?!!? NERD????!?!?!?
Parent

Anyway isn't Korea, Republic ofKorea boycotting Starcraft II ?
who cares tbh... if SC2 continues like that in Europe and United States of America, i am confident it will take esports on another level in those regions... so we're having our own "pro-scene".

already heard EuroSport will broadcast ESL IEM Starcraft II matches, for example... but not confirmed yet...
Parent
I couldn't care less if they are but SC2 wont even come near to how popular SC is/was in Korea.
Only time will tell what is te become of this game esports wise but I certainly hope Korea will eventually join in anyway.
Parent
if blizzard keeps pumping money into korean tournaments, it prolly will :D
Parent
aslong as kespa and blizzard are still in a war over IP rights, it probably won't. and even then, nothing will beat the excitement of brood war, not even bigger prize money.
Parent
Kespa kind of is, but Kespa and GOM aren't really friendly. Wouldn't be suprised if Kespa kept current BW progamers from attending this somehow like they did with past GOM tournaments
Parent
Not playing atm, want to hone my skills first before stepping online.

Watching day9's vids help as well :P
you forgot to mention that yes, it's open to everyone, but the preliminaries are held offline in korea
