Watching Big Country get hit for 6 for 15 minutes was amazing :D

I'm so glad Silva won in the end. Sonnen may have controlled the fight but he was merely slapping him for 24 minutes.

Wrestlers = boring

Yeah I don't doubt most people involved in MMA are ego jock cunts, but it doesn't take much away from the spectacle imo

Im not much of an expert but comparing some old ufc material vs todays martial artists you can see the sport has matured a lot. Ofc some of those fighters aren't the sharpest knifes around, but other show real sportsmanship which you can only admire considering they try beat the living shit out of each other.

I don't think Sonnen really tapped, was kind of disappointed. He was better conditioned than Silva and dominated him for 22 and a half minutes, it was unfortunate to see it end the way it did.

I thought he did in real-time but then had my doubts afterwards as Silva still appeared to have the hold. On the replay it's pretty clear he tapped imo.

My problem with wrestlers like Sonnen is their reliance on judges. For someone with such good takedowns and grappling, his G&P is impotent.

Oh he tapped but he should have fucking won that fight. He was absolutely shitting on Silva until he got careless and walked into a triangle. Fuck, I'm still kinda pissed that he lost.

If I were him, I would not have fucking tapped. I would rather have had my arm ripped off my body or got completely choked out before I fucking tapped in that fight.
