Can you run slac in conjunction with direct input programs such as dinput or rinput?

Yes.

Open RInput
Type: ET.exe
Start SLAC.
Start ET through SLAC.
RInput should close automatically and it should work.

Consult numbe (kennyhotz) for more, he uses this combo I think.
