Porto :)

Anyone here from Porto or who's been there before?:)

Got my tickets booked for the FC Porto - KRC Genk Europa League match and we have nearly 2 full days to wander around in the town and visit things :)

So any places you would advise me to visit?

I live at 25km from Porto. I would suggest you to go out at night to "ribeira" http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2481/3744797664_78c03dd36a_o.jpg, there is lots of bars n stuff.. also if you wanna spend your day, you could go into some beachs or visit some places like:
- "Torre dos Clérigos" http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/ed/Clerigos.jpg/220px-Clerigos.jpg;
- "Ponte D.Luis" http://i1.trekearth.com/photos/69092/ponte_d._luis_i.jpg
- At the other side of river, there is a city called Gaia. You can check the "Caves do Vinho do Porto" (to see how they do the famous Porto wine)..

I can't really remember anything else :\

"decent" :D well, it's summer.. there is lots of people at streets n stuff, so if you have a question just ask some young people (18 or something), they surely know how to help you. I am not sure about some "commerce place/vendors), but it's worth to try!
I've been there and answered some foreign people, they might be used to it!

mm... maybe thats not the best picture, check some others at google! But if you like patatoes and sandwich with cheese, then really... You've got to try this... EVERYONE loves this, i don't know anyone who dislikes Francesinha!

it's a sandwich, with meat, ham and sausages inside, covered with molten cheese, and served with a tomato-beer sauce and fries

ja ik heb het net gelezen, de veiligheidsmaatregelen voor die match zijn echt overdreven, supporters van Gent moeten hun rijksregisternummer enzo opschrijven :/

Fifa heeft jullie niet zo graag :P
