I have some annoying internet problems (such as high pings on some servers, and low pings on other, and the opposite, etc)
My router is in a very hot room, close to the PC, which is a very hot place in the area. The router is very hot. Could the heat cause my router to produce shit pings and annoying problems? What can I do?

i had the same problem with my old modem, i just bought a new one :) and yes heat can cause those problems (in my case it did)
Overheating always causes problems, no matter what hardware.
+1
cool the router then, e.g. while placing it on such cooling fins? ^^ http://www.alltests.de/hardware/reviews_03/sharkoon_cus2/kuehlrippen_nah2.jpg
