gameranger is only goodaoe2 client if u want to play with randoms/different types of games, hamachi is best if u play with friends

how does it work? last time i tried to play aoe2 vs a friend truu hamachi it didnt work (the megaupload link from you contains aoe2 right?)

Yes it contais aoe2 and conquerors expansion pack. Just download that aoe from link i gave, dl hamachi, join channel network example "dezires lovecave", copy the IP from the user in hamachi who is hosting the aoe2 game. Also when u are joining u have to change connection type to "TCP/IP connection" in multiplayer

AoE 2, the best strategy game in history and maybe the best LAN-game ever ~P although it's a shame that even if you play with the hardest difficulty and theres 4-5 NPC's,its easy to win them after you survive the beginning (collecting resources, defeating enemys first attacks etc)

You have to play with The Conquerors expension. Sucks so hard when you have to renew your farms in the main game every few minutes.
