Glad Armin finally got some credit for a great years worth of music. 3 American in the top 10 shows the state of dance music atm :\

I had never heard of Above & Beyond before - so, obsessed as I am, I downloaded the Tri-State CD (the only thing I could find). While it might not be entirely fair to judge them based on such material, don't you also find them boring to the extreme?

IM, on the other hand, I have over 12 hours of and could listen to forever. :p

nigga pls, Above & Beyond Desearve their 9th spot. They really don't suck as much as you think.

Since I don't know the tracklist of the album, I don't know which songs you have been listening to but Air For Life and some other song which I lost the name from are awesome =]

It had me falling sleep after, what I thought was, a short - 4:12 - down-tempo intro and never woke me back up. It's artists like this that give trance a bad name, with their boring, repetitive and unexciting music.

Above & Beyond are the good side of Trance ;-p

german djs s00x
Too bad ATB 13th only....at least top 3 was in Hungary last summer.

Paul van Dyk btw..
Yeh ATB got a vote from me this year as well suprised he slipped, again because of the americans in the top 10...

pvd for an angel #1
Bulldog too cool for the young dance music me thinks :P
Parent
Nick Warren 36th :[

Carl Cox 11th and he doesn't have any new good stuff for a long time...
Welcome to the popularity test. Too bad it isn't based on performances and producing the last year.

I haven't been much in the Trance scene this year, but my top would look like:

- Markus Schulz
- Armin van Buuren
- Paul Van Dyk
- Tiësto
- Ferry Corsten

And that's quite it since I haven't heard enough of otter dj's the judge them.
I voted for

Kai Tracid
Armin Van Buuren
Paul Van Dyke
ATB
Marco V

Obviously not in that order though :P
Parent
It is PvDyk, not Dyke = ]

Kai Tracid & ATB, dunnow. I find them very good artists, but what have they shown this year?
Parent
Care, we all know that he means Paul Van Dyke -.-
Parent
it is NOT dyke...
Parent
Saying that Ferry Corsten sucks, I'd say you are a noob.

PS, I voted for:
Tiesto (bicuz: ISOS5 roxed)
Armin van Buuren (bicuz: Armin Only 2006 is going to rock :p)
Paul van Dyk (bicuz: The Politics of Dancing were great)
Ferry Corsten (bicuz: LEF was great)
Gabriel & Dresden (bicuz: Some impressing songs & remixes)
Im glad Armin has got some recognition for all the state of trance episodes he has done.
