fallout 3 is AMAZING, the shooting system is quite annoying but is just an epic and awesome game

every time i have speculation over something, it is where i know i might find success in it, one of the bests experiences i ever had started from doubting

The world aka the wasteland is HUGE and I really enjoyed doing all the side quests and exploring. You could just do the main mission and be done in 10 hours but I think I played for like 20 hours before I even started the main story.

Nop just walking but you can ''quick travel'' once you have been to a certain location.
100 hours is not uncommon for this game and there are many people who have played it for 300+ and some even with 1000 or more and apparently it's the same for Oblivion but I gave up on that after I got turned into a vampire :/

metro 2033 is sick, give it a try
fallout 3 is amazing
brothers in arms is very very decent
company of heroes - to me the best RTS ever

prince of persia is also amazing (both olds and the latest 2009, haven't played the latest)

rainbow six las vegas is a very very nice and detailed shooting game

i saw some guys mentioned FO3, definitely worth it, one of the best games ive played

also, King Kong was pretty good :D seriously, its pretty good! I donno if you can get Turok on the PC but give that a go as well I loved that
