If you're coming to the UK wanting music why not just go to V fest this weekend? Will cost you 90 quid for a day ticket from a scalper but it'll be a great day :)

For the museumy stuff there's always The National History Museum which is interesting & free! - also enjoyed wandering around the Tate. Plus always worth catching a show @ the West End, you can get cheap tickets from the tkts booth at Leicester Square.

Gig wise see what's on at the Academy or smth. And get yourself a hoodie from American Apparel (if you don't mind being a lill ripped off! =] )

go to Camden to hang with the indie kids + at night.
go to Hampstead Heath for an awesome park.
go to Kew Gardens for the best garden in the world.
hmm forgot the museum which is the best one, but if you like geeking go to the Science Museum.
Shop around Covent Garden, its nicer and less busy than Oxford Street area.
Drink coffee and eat cake in a nice patiserie and pretend your an old gentleman into the financial times.
Im leaving london tomorrow for holiday no.2 =)
