76 - 125 fps

loaded a config with com_mafps 76 (stable) and it run ET smoother than com_maxfps 125 (stable). WTF HOW>?

both r_displayrefresh 75

i use aswell 76 fps and 71 for pistol

displayrefresh 75

ive samsung lcd syncmaster 920n

tho i dont know shit in monitorsHZ and ingame shit performance and MS stuff so yeah i just use 76 fps

125 / 75 = 1,66666666...
76 / 75 = 1,01333333...

guess whats easier to be displayed smoothly by the monitor (or who ever decides why pictures are shown).

125/75 is faster, but the screen looks moar shaky

Because your screen refreshes 75 times per second anyway, by using FPS close to 75 your monitor skips less frames

it's true.
76 FPS with 75 Hz display refresh looks smoother.
