what is the best server provider for ET servers?

had one from gameservers.com, but it had pretty high pings

YCN is fine, but only because it's so cheap. Used to be a fucking bang for the buck, last autumn when I bought my server they didn't lag at all but nowadays the german host has almost 100 ping for me (used to be 50-60) and the dutch host has random lag spikes.

I suggest you get a server in England as the dutch and german hosts are quite terrible.

X3M used to be good. Not used one for ages though.

Multiplay are good for UK players too, but other people dislike them.

X3M used to be good before they started hosting too many servers on one machine although they did lower prices.
