might be that you card is just too low to be supported, look for older versions

1. I cant install Nvidia drivers for my card. After install and booting, it wont launch x-server again, so I have to run old xorg.conf from the backup. Tried changing "nv" to "nvidia" in xorg.conf and other suggested things, didnt do anything. My card is MX440SE, so the drivers are too new for my card or what?
2. .Rar isnt free anymore? How can I unrar then, downloaded both unrar and unrar-free, both failed to open the .rar file I need to unrar.
I am running on Ubuntu 6.10.
