Trying to customise my windows7 desktop. I spent like 1hour working with Rainmeter and ended up with the following result:
What can I use to sort out my desktop icons? - I'm thinking along the lines of categorised sections with smart icons!
I've seen rocketdock but I think it looks pretty shit and I bet it uses plenty of memory.

Awesome support for hardware (Win7 found support for my old cap card which has no available drivers on the internet now not even the companies website or archive)
Stability (coded very well tbh)
Looks nice
Clean, professional and awesome looking windows/forms
Good networking features/stability
Good on battery life on laptops
Not many known bugs are out atm
Runs Firefox awesome!
Support for older software (much better than Vista)
Awesome support for Mac hardware!
Oh did I mention that it sucks for mouse alterations?:P
Programming and generally working with Windows, Win 7 > all
mine
theres also new version out http://customize.org/rainmeter/skins/73873
the mini icons? if you mean those icons in taskbar, they are windows ones. right click taskbar -> properties -> small icons and always combine, hide labels.
