yes, cuz per definition usenet lets you download @ your maximum possible speed.
And the retention (esp. on payservers) is much much longer than on most filehosters

depends, there are certain groups that are flooded with spam and viruses. But if you have the right sources (like FTD for example). You get good shit only.
