i give blood.. have been doing so for about 6-7 years now ;o

started with it last year ;) i got the bloodtype b which isn't often

It is almost impossible to donate blood, at least here in Finland. Requirements are ridiculous for a normal person, thus there isn´t so many donors here.

i used to give blood twice every year while i was in college.
now i can't find the time anymore.

it's a small effort and it might save someone's life someday.

I give plasma every two weeks. When you give plasma, you get the fluid you lose back in the form of a isotone NaCl solution so you feel less dizzy when finished. I find it much more comforting and it only takes a little longer. The feeling of the cold NaCl solution they give you is kinda strange, but still i rather give plasma than blood.
