I have had my Razer Deathadder mouse since 2008, and have had my mouse-drivers installed for quite a while, I downloaded the most recent drivers + firmware update from razersupport around 2 hours ago and opened the "DeathAdder_driver_v3.01_Eng.exe" to update (or reinstall) the drivers and it said "Confirm Uninstall; Do you want to completely remove the selected application and all of its features?" so I expected it was just going to uninstall my previous drivers and install the new ones, but all that happened when I pressed 'OK' was I heard the sound of my mouse unplugging/plugging back in (the Windows sound) and then my monitor going black, then the BDoD appearing.
checked on random websites found @ google, but incase any gamers have had the same problem, let me know here.
*update* it happens everytime I try to update my drivers/firmware and when I try to Uninstall the Razer Deathadder totally. It thinks my mouse is now not plugged in at all which makes no sense to me, it won't save my driver settings and won't allow me to install drivers either.

Edit: and try plugging your mouse into a different usb port.
