In QL rather the "East block"-countries (Poland, Belarus and Russia, or what ever country Cypher was from) instead of Sweden. Agree with USA though.
Finns are pretty active in TF2 and dominating in ET at least.

Well, I was just thinking USA have rapha, DaHang and dkt/chance + CTF team and SWE have Fox, Spart1e and Z4MuZ(or how do you write it). And Belarus, Poland and Russia doesn't have that many players in these tournaments.

"Eastblock country" whereas Sweden has Spart1e, Fox, Z4muz, fazz and madix. Second Spart1e can definitely compare to cypher/cooller/av3k and Fox can to (if active). So Sweden deserves to be in that list.

I don't really disagree with you but here we're talking quakelive and actual results. Spart1e did beat Cooller in this years Quakecon (Quarter Finals), placed second in last years quakecon and was top ten (top 5?) in most of the bigger tourneys this year.
Furthermore I simply stated that Sweden has more top players than any other country (maybe the USA) you talking about toxjq just proves my point.

But yeah I think Cypher, Cooller and Av3k are a level higher than Spart1e but saying that he doesn't compare to them and isn't a top player is to much.

If you look at the stats you will clearly see that Denmark has been dominating most of the events the last since the starting of cs. It is clear that Sweden is awesome aswell, but if you look that SE has 2 teams that has serious chances winning a tournament and Denmark only 1 and still DK ending with winning it most of the times.

Its a really lame discussion, but kinda hope you get my point :)

what i am trying to say that stats doesnt matter if we're gonna say whos the best nation NOW. I know that denmark has had good teams before but events in this year mtw is only team from denmark whos been even attending good lans and succeeded in them and still they're only won 1 event this year. Sweden have SK which have yet not won any major event but surely are a top contender, fnatic whos won like 4 events already, old h2k good results also 2nd and 4th place in major lans.

wcrea are a talented team, i mean they just raped mtw in the first map but to proof you're a top team you need to proof it in major lans not just with old achievements. fnatic's been superior to mtw and sweden got 2 real top teams also (altho been struggling) and as much as i like denmark teams more I just cant say denmark would be deserved to be called as a top nation in 1.6 at this moment.
