Ok so I figured out that my internet is way too slow for what it's supposed to be. I got Belgacom ADSL Internet Favorite and it's suposed to have a 25Mbps downloadspeed and 3.5 uploadspeed.

Since I instantly start lagging when my brother just checks images on his pc etc I went to speedtest.net and this were the results =/ :

I got an ISDN Philips modem (Philips AR 4505 GW).

Is it possible that my modem can only handle 2Mbps or is my provider just not providing me the speed I should get.. Or am I just way too far located from my provider to get more than 2Mbps :s? I'm already having this problem for a long time but I just took a look at it now.

Mjah true ma kkem downloadlimiet van 100GB dus op da vlak emmek los genoeg. Ma asek betaal voor 25Mbps en kkrijg maar 2Mbps das wel fucked :D

sunday is the worst day to check i-net speed
especially with modem connection (static ip), i also have sometimes probs on sunday

I'm already having this problem for along time and I never download faster than 230kb/s .. I have the same problems on each day in the week

I had this modem too before, and i had 4.6mbps.

Its just Belgacom.

you have ADSL not VDSL2 so its correct, but in VDSL2,

Call to 0800/33 800 and asks upgrade to VDSL2, 50€ Activation.

Belleke doen naar de 0800 22 700 en vragen naar Sander, ik doe daar mijne vakantiejob. Ik schakel u dan wel rechtstreeks door met de klantendienst, nP.

Ik schakel u direct door é jong, medewerkers zitten altijd bovenaan de wachtrij. Vanaf 8.30 :D

Nja daar zit 40 man ofzo, dus tzou wel moeten lukken. Maar gewoon vragen dat ze u doorverbinden.

Ofwel gewoon direct bellen naar 0800 22 800, maar daar belt meestal meer volk naar toe.

I paid those 50 Euro because i had to, to use Belgacom TV, but this change NOTHING for your internet speed. This allow it to go over to 12Mbps, that's all.

If you dont have 12Mbps now this will not help.

But you could call them, there is probably problems on your line. Unless you are way too far from the relay.
