'FriendList' in SLAC

Im at work right now (till 7am :E) and an interesting idea came to my mind.
It would be great if SLAC gives us the opportunity to add friends(by slac number/nick name) and shows us which friends are online and where(ip server) they are playing. The 'join' button should be there also.
What is your opinion?
