LoL was part of WCG
but its a kind of unbalanced Oo
if you have a intelligence hero and you push your magical dmg skills.. you will be able to 1 hit heroes -.- it suxx hard imo..
int > all in that game
ur problem if u died to an overfed mage on lvl 1 ^^
ult + stun + q + e = enemy down!
if you have some good items..
cleanse for his stun + 2 auto attacks and hes dead^^

ryze = shit
I will with Mordekaiser
No. LoL is shit. Really, really shit.
Worst. Engine. Ever.
talent trees in LoL
HoN is fairly new and yet it already has cookiecutter combos to counter enemies.
Basicly every hero you encounter has a standard way of fighting and you know how to counter it (or you know when to run from them). The only thing making it personal is the items you buy.
Which are also fairly predictable.
LoL has the talent trees + summoner spells (+ items) which make every encounter even more different. This makes the game so much more interesting.
But then again, I've done too much LoL-HoN arguments on crossfire.
It's almost impossible to convince a HoN-player to admit LoL is atleast as good as HoN.

thats because it isnt.
I think LoL is the better game.
They should worry more about balancing the heroes that are out now rather than introducing new ones.
there are no overpowered heroes
riot always nerf heroes if they are overpowered, for example xin zhao was leading the game for 1 week, after that he got nerfed hard

To summarise: LoL is a half-finished, poorly produced, poorly balanced, scrub effort at modernising DotA. HoN ticked most of the boxes. LoL didn't. Stop playing the shit one.
or well actually i'm not sure now, but at the very end of the beta it was surely going downwards
Imo, HoN engine > w3 engine. Pathfinding sucks at times, but it's incredibly responsive. Functionality is second to none, so many features that w3 lacked. Balancing for competitive play is regularly revised, a constrant stream of heroes to keep the pub scrubs happy.
also some attackanimations were changing the game sooo much and just.. blagh so many 'insignificant' things that never got fixed
if hon and dota had the same engine i'd take dota any day
You can throw me bullshit all you like, but the facts prove you're wrong.
:DD
dota had a couple 50-100k tourneys in asia (smm), with no rich developer behind it
anyway, any big multigamingorganisations got a lolteam?
LoL been on any major lantours? (iseries, dreamhack, etc)
wcg so doesnt count.
they're 'fighting' with icefrog for about a year now, spread rumours about him etc, just because they're moneyhungry fucks and majorly retarded.
u dont need to pay for LoL if u wanna play it, why should i care about icefrog
Not giving a shit about DotA.
":D"
Not giving a shit about the wheel

- your player level can give you an edge over other players while on dota or hon all that sets you apart is your skill;
- you can't deny creeps or towers;
- you can't pull neutral creeps or block your own;
- both teams can have the same heroes which is beyond retarded;
- you can't see the other team's picks;
- hero balance is poorly done and whenever they introduce a new one it will always be OP for a week.
I'm sure all those things make it better than HoN and DotA, "Puyol".
- i agree denying creeps is missing, but denying towers is retarded
- couldn't care less if it was there or not
- this actually make the team setups way more interesting (and you have more possible combinations) + in ranked games it's impossible
- yet another reason to practice teamplay and strategy so you can handle any combination of opponents as you don't know who you're fighting before it starts. + in ranked games it's not.
- let's not talk about hero balance. HoN suffers from the same OP-ness whenever a new hero is released.
- you can't see the other team's picks;
- hero balance is poorly done and whenever they introduce a new one it will always be OP for a week.
bullshit
bullshit
bullshit
in ranked games u can see the enemies heroes and u cant pick em twice
heroes are totally balanced, dont talk shit
new hero, urgot, wasnt op at all, just a new random hero like all others
- blah
- blah
