and i thought what about when you visualize yourself training instead of really doing it?! heard about it and also that it is very close to the real thing and that the brain does the same thing bladibla!
Creative visualization (sports visualization) refers to the practice of seeking to affect the outer world via changing one's thoughts. Creative Visualization is the basic technique underlying positive thinking and is frequently used by athletes to enhance their performance.
In one of the most well-known studies on Creative Visualization in sports, Russian scientists compared four groups of Olympic athletes in terms of their training schedules:
* Group 1 = 100% physical training;
* Group 2 - 75% physical training with 25% mental training;
* Group 3 - 50% physical training with 50% mental training;
* Group 4 - 25% physical training with 75% mental training.
Group 4, with 75% of their time devoted to mental training, performed the best. "The Soviets had discovered that mental images can act as a prelude to muscular impulses."
So im gonna be muscular soon cause im gonna mental train my ass off doing 50km sprints and onehundredthousand push ups etc etc fuck you all and suck a dick!

Never mind, its from 2006 :)
but come on, no way can mental training provide the same physical results as physical training.
although a good mind set can often give you a next level performance i've found..
