downloaded films -> tv =)

Ok basicly I want to watch series and films that I downloaded on my tv.. Watch the cheapest solution? I don't want to always burn dvd's etc so that's not an option.

cheapest solution, just watch movies on tv. you only have to buy a "televisiegids" to watch when they play

Ofcourse, because the series released in the US (and avi for download for us) are also on the EU television channels eh -.-

Whatever connector your graphics card offers you as output, buy it as a cable and put it on the input of your tv.

euhm... i hooked up my PC to my TV a while ago works pretty well :) had to get a DVI > HDMI cable and a jack > jack stereo audio cable (from my PC to my surround system) spend about 30 euro

my brother has a tv-cinema box (with hdd, to store films/series on) and he put a wireless reciver in it so he can stream movies from his computer to tv.

speak for urself... got the same system over here
got a pc built on spare parts behind the tv, connected to a wireless router, which is fed by the other wireless router, then just watch over the network.
To avoid any stuttering... u can always just transfer the file to the other pc, then no stutter :)

Ye that means you've got a strong processor with graphics card taking care of the interlacing of stutter.

Why don't you just put the HDDs in your HTPC?

just buy a media box connect it to your tv, stream movies from your pc wireless to the media box and it will be on your tv.

or buy a ps3, it can do the same.

how about buy a cheap usb stick costs around 10-20 euros, ~8gb space to 16 if u watch high quality, and whenever you download something, move it to the usb and then plug it to ur dvd...or buy streamer

ik gebruik zelf een xbox : )

TV staat inzelfde kamer als computer, dus dat werkt prima voor mij (behalve dan dat sommige codecs niet werken, en dingen als ondertiteling werken niet helemaal lekker)

If your pc is upstairs and your tv downstairs then either run a long cable or if you have an x-box or ps3 then you can transfer the movie onto a usb stick.

i use xtreamer, i stream everything from my pc upstairs to my tv downstairs full hd etc, using utp cable. It was around 100 euro. It will also work with wifi, but not for full hd. But the WD cattle suggested is also good, and there are many more options.

depends on your television, i f.e. use Samsung PC Share to stream everything from pc :) music/movies/even youtube. 1080p is not a problem howerver i had some problems with audio codecs in some movies :p
