Alternative to Rapidshare

Since rapidshare is gone to shit since that whole new rapid system I wanna use something else.. not like megaupload or the others like that as they don't really have anywhere near the amount of files rapidshare has.. so i'm looking for something similar with a large file base for around the same price as a rs premium account..

I'm using Real-debrid. 50 premiums in 1 (RS, Hotfile, MU, etc.).

Only interesting for downloaders, cos you can't upload with it.

I like the look of that, seems pretty cool, can you use a download manger with it? or what way do you download through it?

Yeah, they advise you use IDM to dl the links. When u have a premium account there's this page where you can copy paste all links u want to dl (RS, MU, doesn't matter which one) and then u click a button called "unrestrict my links". The page generates real-debrid links for all the files u wanna download and then u copy paste those links in the download manager. Only takes a few seconds to unrestrict, so it's not time consuming or anything.

I manually download all the links by right clicking them and "unrestricting" it, but that's the most time consuming method.

Neen? We hebben beiden een RS premium account gekocht, en ondertussen heb ik ergens anders ook een premium account genomen. Porno wordt amper aangeboden op RS ;-p

They basically limited there premium account to 30gb for a month.. then if you want extra "rapids" you buy them for another €4.99

I love the new rapidsystem :D somehow I managed to get sick many points, no idea how cause I never upload shit, and now I can extend my account for half a year ^^

You don't get any points from uploading stuff anymore.. there website is confusing as fuck but I got that much, you maybe have an account half a year but you could use up your download limit months before that..

The reforms are only a pain in the ass for the hardcore movie/games downloaders, but for those who only download occassionally the reforms are a gift from heaven.

My premium would normally finish in september, but due to the reforms and me not downloading that often anymore I can practically use it until next year somewhere :-)

same in here =) but how comes there is a difference between these 2 kind of downloaders ? they don't get those "points" (dunno what it's called that I switched for extending my account) or what?

Yeah, RapidPoints don't exist anymore. Now everybody has to pay to prolong his account.

You got them when they changed the system completely. So if your account was still valid until...e.g. December 2010... you get 400 points, if its till January 2011 you get 500 etc.

No idea how the exact calculation was being done, but basically its like expiration date of your account / some formula * some formula = rapid points...

they stopped the new rs system a week after making it because of complaints it was too complex.

I tried hotfile and it was soooooo bad, 3kb/s - 14kb/s comapred to 1.2mb/s. and they stole my bros money and gave him standard account, without refund even though he mailed 3 times.

I have a HF account now too but its shit, will stick to good old rs.

I was just lolling about it yesterday that I already have my account for over 2 months and only used 200 from 800 rapids :D It sucks for uploaders I guess but I just download series anyways :S
