Need FM10 help

I'm playing as Liverpool second year.

i'm getting ride of Mascherano since he is a prick in RL and he doesnt fit my plans.

I'm looking to play this formation(also my squad):

I need a left winger that can also play in the center (two footed is even better),
two center midfielders (one to play box to box with defensive stats, and playmaker with attacking stats)
and one decent striker, doesnt have to be young, wonderkid or promising, but a cheap and decent one that I can relay on.

I have a 30M budget, and more if I sell Mascherano. I had agreed terms with Cattermole,13M, but don't know if it's a good buy. Broke negotiations with Defour for 12M since he seems shit.

Helps? I'm in July and want to pick my transfers carefully.

Will all these young players play good from the start? I need established players since I want to challange for title (I finished 7th) and when I played Shelvey and Golasa they didn't really deliver

Hazard and Alaba did for me.I bought Zucculini a bit later into the game but he did deliver as well. And what do you mean by English player version?

Would love to have a strong English nationality in the team, rather than having a team full of por-brazil-holland etc. Plus I need a player who trained in EPL , and I'm missing one I think.

I'm not stats expert, but doesnt young's stats extremely shit? And Ramsey I can't sign, keep offering and they decline. Are Cattermole and Defour not a decent signing?

Defour seems a good player in my savegame (but it's 2014...). Cattermole on the other hand seems pretty meh.

Sergio Canales? He's a regular at Real Madrid in my game and a total beast. I'm actually saving money to sign him myself but I doubt they'll let him go.

And for a defender... Mexes is always a good choice but I highly doubt you'll get to sign him. I've always been having trouble to find decent CDs myself, so I'm still playing with Badstuber and Breno at Bayern.

Yes Sergio, he is a pure talent, but he kinda doesn't exactly fit my formation. I will have to play Gerrard together with Canales, something I hate ( I like leaving Gerrard and Torres space a lone, same reason I hate partnering Torres with a 2nd striker)

Well, Canales will peak by the time Gerrard's quality will drop so you could shift from one player to the other without having to worry about finding a replacement for Gerrard.

Look at Blasi and Dessena then, I got Blasi on a free cause his contract expired (start of 2nd season) so he must be low priced cause his contract is running out and Dessena was only £2.1m, both of them run the midfield for me, got promoted from Coca Cola Championship with Watford and now I'm 2nd in Prem with 3 games to go, so they must be doing a good job :P

Almost impossible to buy a decent midfielder for around 15M, what the fuck. I would rather go and purchase Muniain or Lukaku to pair with Torres and get Affelay on jan for free (on the report it says I can aproach him in pre contract in 6 months).

What you say? Drop the midfield tactic and just pair torres with Lukaku/Muniain and wait for Affelay? Is he good? And Muniain or Lukaku? Lukaku offer is 25M, Muniain 24M, couldn't get it lower.

Sold Agger. :P 3 strikers woth Torres? No thx, I rather keep him a lone. I'm actually really thinking of just buying Lukaku and plan the future. Though, I need to decide on midfielders quick, else they will be too expensive. Canales refused to join "he just joined a club"
Hope for the best...This transfer window didn't move as good as I planned.

you really should get Toni Kroos! , i hope he is not to expensive now, in the beginning you can get him for like 10mil, but 2 years later only for 80+....

Got Lukaku for 20.5M! Gonna do a 4-4-2 with Diamon setup. Though, Mascherano and Agger are both angry that I declined both their negotiations. How is it going to effect me?

you shouldnt get rid of Mascherano ( or only for 40mil+ ) You can sell Agger for around 20, and get Otamendi for 10! . Just let them play, they will get happy again if you start winning!

Ok..Almost sold Agger for 12M and Mascherano for 20M. No one almost wants to buy Mascherano and they all offer me a 0E at first and 20M over 48 months. :X Now I need to find targets for a defensive midfielder and wingers. I need more than 2 names, since some will be harder to sign.

cheap players? hhmmm. anyway if ure a good trainer and you have a decent tactic + lu, no matter if the lineup is established or not you should be able to win with liverpool

first season i always buy at least a few youngsters.

anyway as far as i know it doesnt matter if the money is payed over 24m, you will have the money right away, but im not sure tho, anyway try to rearange the offer for a straight payment since im not sure

if you have ~45M go for Dzeko & Gourcuff (Both like 24M) gourcuff gets seriously one of the best AMC's

you could also get modric for like 23M hes good

for a good defender get otamendi (DC) hes amazing, zapata (DRC) is amazing too but expensive

dont buy adriano his stats get awfull in like 2 years. you could wait a year and get riquelme for free tho.


anyway cheap strikers:

milyevski or smth from dinamo kiev (~4M)
yannick djalo ( 950K )
traore from fc cluj or smth like that x] ( 1m )
diego tardelli from some brazilian team i believe

all can get you 20 - 30 goals extra

vucinic or smth like that from sporting is 10M good creative mid

villalva from river is good but needs a few years same from kakuta from chelsea

other food AMC is diego buoanotte from some argentian stuff hes quite cheap

uhh cant mention more out of my head x]



btw how did u get canales? first year hes on transfer to real?

I'm a very unique person, I like choosing the players by the way I feel about them. I just can't buy random players from random countries with random names and just own the game, it's just no fun.

On another point, all the players you mentioned are out of my pocket reach. I had a 7M budget at first season, where the board gave me an extra 25M in July. I sold a few players, but I don't know why, I didn't receive all their transfer money...And I still didn't have any takesover. I'm in a fucked up situation.

I didn't get Canales eventually. First year he was on loan so I couldn't buy him. Second year, I offered Real 10M + Kuyt, which they accepted. However, Canales refued to join even if I gave him maximum fee, in response " I just joined". Fuck that bitch, I got Shelvey.

no ure not unique in that, i have the same :p but since i have that graphic pack i send you its more fun cuz there are now faces with them.

and well you cant get rly 'nice' players for that amount of money sadly, for some stupid reason fm asks ridicolous prices for some players x] shelvey gets really good tho, one of englands top players :]
