Helvetica is an independent feature-length documentary film about typography and graphic design, centered around the typeface of the same name. Directed by Gary Hustwit, it was released in 2007 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the typeface's introduction in 1957. Its content consists of a history of the typeface interspersed with candid interviews with leading graphic and type designers. The film aims to show Helvetica's beauty and ubiquity, and illuminate the personalities that are behind typefaces. It also explores the rift between modernists and postmodernists, with the latter expressing and explaining their criticisms of the famous typeface.

Well, yeah, even though the 'stand up' clips are quite short and don't take up so much of the movie. Its just a fun documentary, which an interesting idea behind it. :P

Exit Through The Gift Shop is a recent documentary I watched and enjoyed.
I love Banksy and have been waiting for it some time but happened to forget about it :/ Thanks!
Parent
Okay, just watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it, too.

I actually kinda liked some of Mister Brain Wash's work even though some is plain street art-cliché and horribly redundant. I mean, alterations to the Mona Lisa? Really innovative. I admire his dedication to his projects but he clearly didn't get the idea of street art at all.

Aready watched a whole lot on NY mobsters. Definitely interesting.
