most epic shit ive played in a while. cant wait for mass effect 3 :(

I liked ME1 more aswell, was more of an rpg than 2. And the ending sequence of the first one was so brilliant. Can't wait to continue the story when the third installment comes along.

Eventhough ME 2 was way less of an rpg then ME 1 was or compared to DA, the setting and story are legendary. Way better than the one in DA.

Aiming isn't really that big of an aspect...
You have to rely on upgrades, on custimizations of your character, group strategies (with pauses, so pretty turnbased) and positioning. The shooting is just what you get when you develop an rpg in the future. Allthough it's possible to do it like kotor did, I still prefer this method (allthough abit more indepth customization of the classes should be present imo). These games are so epic because of their story, so you go ahead and remove it after a few minutes but don't pass judgement when you haven't even begun the storyline.

apart from the story everything else in DA is better - game mechanics,variousness of items, enemies, side quests and the difference between classes. tbh the only thing that kept me playing me1 was the storyline since the combat system was terribly designed and repetitive, the moon buggy mini game was a joke, team tactics were just lul. I cannot say that about me2 tho it's a great action-rpg hybrid

The combat system was indeed lacking, but I did enjoy the fact that you could actually explore the planets. Most planets looked alike and most of them were vastly empty, but the simply fact of exploring added something for me which I felt wasn't there in ME 2. Though I agree that the DA features more enemies, items and class differences, I do think it was just aswell crippled in combat system and team tactics. The depth of customization in DA was great indeed, but they way it translated to the game was lacking balance and diversity. So while the story in ME 1 and 2 pulled me into the game and actually made me wanting to do a second run through just to explore different options, the superior aspects of the combat system in DA didn't make up for the somewhat less attractive story.
