ftp -> domain

I've ordered that hosting package at OVH.de lately and now I'm struggling to connect the domain with the ftp I've uploaded my stuff on (a website). There's actually a manager on their website where I can fill in my link to the ftp, it doesn't work tho as it sets an 'http://' preset before the line I can paste my 'ftp://' link inside (click).. in conclusion there're no redirection from the ftp to the domain, because that specific link ain't valid with that http:// shit in front of it..

would appreciate any help to fix that shit, as I have no clue at all. cheers!

Not sure if I understood what you are saying, but have you tried to connect to it with some other program?

No, I did not. They have a domain-manager on their website that can handle all the stuff you need, but now I'm sitting here with an ftp:// link and I have to type in an http:// link to make it work..

set up a http:// server then.. easy as pie.
Use PHP or summit for the access and then use the DNS to redirect.

You'd have to run a php server and create a php website though.
But I guess you could use xml or just plain html with links soes.

keine weiterleitung einrichten sondern den www eintrag ( subdomains ) auf die server ip des ftps und dort sollts auch ne ftp subdomain geben wo du nochmal die direkt url zum ftp eingibst ( ftp.deinedomain.de )
