How to run AMD OVERDRIVE

Yes i got 955 chipset.


AMD OverDrive cannot detect AMD 7-series chipset on this computer.

955 ISN'T A CHIPSET, ITS JUST THE PROCESSOR THAT IS IN THE COMPUTER... the chipset is something different from that, what motherboard do you have?

amdoverdrive you can download that plugin for CCC at the official homepage, where you also find the regular drivers

BIOS update then if the socket is the correct one :)
my E8400 has E0 stepping, which is a new manufacturing model with special adjustments blabla
former one was "C0" instead of "E0"
most Mobo's wouldnt detect that CPU, they needed a BIOS update and so i did!
bios update man, go to a local store give em 20 euro and done

aka there is no 7-series chipset on that motherboard aka AMD Overdrive won't work, you'll have to actually go into the bios, not use some software utility for it.
