Dont know who made this list but.. I wouldnt live in that cold place.
33. Hungary
Are you kidding me? Yes its a good country if you have a good job, else you are fucked.
Cold = less bikinis = FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU
People get moar here D:
South Korea needs it so I can play games 24/7 without a job
And finnish school system works great imo, u don't need to pay anything, including food, books and lessons. After junior high, if u go to vocational school / highschool, u have to start paying for books (food is still free, lessons are free, etc) basically only thing u need to pay for is books. but u'll get studen allowance, which is max 94e/month (depends how much ur parents earn) and that is more than enough to cover ur book expenses. (atleast for me it was) . and in university u get max 300e / month.
So in my opinion, finland is good country to live :). tho, this country is getting more and more paternalistic society, which is not a good thing. :/
But finlands national debt is 72 859 944 645e from last check and its not going to stop raising. in 5years, IMF is predicting that finlands national debt is 76% from gross domestic product. :/
This text should have some grammar mistakes, since its close to 4 am. :7
Always nice to see some useful comments :)
It's just an opinion what you like cold / hot / rainy or w/e
Atleast I like it that we have cold winters and hot summers so it's not same all the time on summer you can take sun, hang outside and so and on winter you can play ice hockey outside and everything else winter stuff
we have all the africa crushed!
use this as inspiration please!
The most poor country in the world it says in the same web page, i was like wtf that boy is happy he has lots of money but then :/
10 die = very sad
1 milliion die = statistic
And the education is ranking is only based on literacy and amount of years you go to school lol...
Political is also bs... 6.67 for participation? We're forced by law to vote, how the fuck could it be that low then? And stability gets 84, lol'd.
Crappy list.
Doesn't say anything about education quality though imo...
the belgian stats are all fked up ^^
theres no way whatsoever that is ranked better for education then
Edit : Oh please, I just read your "article", that is based on how far you can go if you graduate cum laude from one of those universities.
The average quality of schooling has nothing to do with this, sorry to dissapoint you.
AFAIK!
Education
Rly? Ur not forced to stay in school untill 18?
vmbo - 4y
havo - 5y
vwo/gym - 6y
with a vmbo grade ure forced to do college (MBO) cuz u arent 18
havo grade is enough when u arent 18, doesnt force you to do smth else, but 99% still do it (HBO)
vwo same story, tho they can chose for HBO or UNI
vmbo hoeft niet afgemaakt te worden.
en, klaar met vmbo op je 18e? wtf.
ik was op mn 18e klaar met mbo
en dat zij ik niet :D
problem, belgium?
Besides, unless I'm mistaken, you have to pay a shitload of money to get in most of those unis... :)
E: Notice how finland isn't on there either :)
Btw, briefly explain me that League of Legend stuff I've been hearing so much about. (^^)
Join #LoL.et btw :P
Basically, you pick a summoner before each match (which is the character you'll control)
Each summoner has unique abilities, skills and stats. (some have more health, others move faster, attack faster, better at spells, etc) You then got to play with your team and attempt to destroy the opponents Nexus (which is a big building that spawns minions) Minions are little weak guys that get spawned every 30 sec or so and killing them gives XP and Gold.
Every time you level up you can add it to one of your skills to improve its power. With gold you can buy items to enhance your stats.
Slaying an enemy summoner gives more money, but is naturally more difficult. Therefore, not dying is just as important as slaying them, since, each kill they make gives them quite a bunch of money which leads to better stats, which means your team will get in trouble if you die a lot.
There are turrets placed on the entire map, half of them are yours, defending them is essential, since they prevent champions from running to your base. Likewise, destroying the opponent's turrets is a necessity to advance.
A great deal of teamwork, strategy and fast thinking is required in order to be succesful.
That's why most people prefer to play with people they know, because you often get placed in a match with people that aren't that good. :)
Tnx for the reply though! might give it a try
I visited Oxford when I was in England and they told me this.
They also got to pay a shitload of money
Dunno about stages, what do you mean by that?
Normally your uni should pay for it (or it should be free anyway since stage means extra people working there for no money)
But dunno if they'd pay for Harvard and shit, might be way too expensive, except if they have reduced prices or sth, idk :D
and for me, unaffordable (well, I could have been able to afford it, but went to travel instead :D:D:D)
I do again next year :P:P
I did my internship in Turkey and didn't had to pay anything to enter school. It's an arrangement between the schools, you should check out how your school did it but it will be much more cheaper for you then for british students at oxford.
i found something on wikipedia, but its still no. 2 there ;)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_capita
statistics though :)
aaaaand: on another page they say its liechtenstein xD
australia is #9 in political environment even tough half the country doesnt even vote, and dont let me get started about these swedes banning mosques to save their beautiful horizons.
p.s. israel #22 ?! tell that to the people getting bombed on a daily base.
we're republican & independent for 40 years now (they left after ww2)
i got 1 as pet
we are small but one of the best :) and ppl compare it to bad balkan countrys
maybe the truth is very far, but the problems are right next to germany :(
Romenia and such is where the crap goes on afaik.
Belgium is all like, wtf how are we ranked #..

It's true tho ^^
The list is crap anyway.

Haha beat that!
a friend of mine was there for a semester to study and all he did was partying the whole time.
even if he partied the night before an exam and was totally drunk, he was the best in class.
When they praise the finnish education they usually mean the elementary school, junior high and high school.. Nothing bad to say about universities either.
