sure, just keep 16:9 ratio
Srry, I meant in-game. Are there any ET commands that could to the trick?

yes, customize your resolution
try different r_modes until u get the best for yourself

seta r_mode 1/2/3/4/etc
Well then I have the problem with the borders again
Parent
rmode -1
x
y
r_customwidth <value>
r_customheight <value>

r_mode -1
Still the borders :s The game screen just becomes smaller, and the rest is black

If youre having border issues that means that youre using a resolution thats out-of-range (not supported by your screen) which monitor are you using brand\model?
Parent
I'm playing on an Asus N90 Laptop, with default screen settings
Parent
make sure you put r_fullscreen to 0 ;) otherwise u will always get black borders :)

1080p = 16:9 aspect you can try reducing that res by 50% (720p). try in-game

r_mode -1
r_customwidth 1280
r_customheight 720
vid_restart

youll get way more fps than a 1080p resolution.
Well that's what I tried, but for some reason the screen doesn't want to stretch or something... The resolution changes, but it doesn't cover the whole screen, just the 1280*720 pixels

its weird then, it could probably be an invalid refresh rate that ure using at ET are you forcing it manually through ET? .
Parent
I adjusted my refresh rate in ET, and it works now!

Thanks a lot man ;D

because u are 15 and nobody is born a master....

change resolution in ur graphic card options + change panel scaling in ur graphic card options accordingly will guide u if help needed

minimal resolution is usually(unless manualy customized) 800*600

lowest supported resolution depends on ratio, ratio is
in your case 1920 / 1080 = 1.7(7)8
my case 800 / 600 = 1.3(3)

now the black borders, they appear
in et or
in windows or
in windows only when u play et ?
They appeared in et, but it's already solved. I had to adjust the refresh rate. Thx for ur help anywayz
