Dear journal,
recently I went back2school. (politcal sciences! v57) So i thought its time to quit ET for a while. I sold my uberpr0 pc and bought an old piece of crap for 50€ and some cheap ass TFT for 150€. Its a pIII without an openGL 3d card so playing ET is kinda impossible.
So, to keep myself bussy at night i started playing Starcraft and tbfh this game roxors. I always thought RTS is slow and ghey but seriously, the speed and multitasking is so unbelievably fast.
Next you got the ubermicro. I downloaded some starcraft fragmovies to see how the pro's play it realy is awesome to micromanage a whole army, using stupid peons to block zerglings or setting up chockepoints to keep out an overwhelming big army with two zealots.
Macro is kinda dumb, making sure your economy runs. Its kinda ghey untill you start using teh macro to annoy your opponent. As a noob i usualy started building up this huge defence wich totaly got owned by tanks or mutalisks in teh end. So I started playing more aggresive. Get your macro going, then build zergs, zealots going straight for the enemy and try to harrass as much as possible, trying to disturb his economy and killing off as much drones as possible, just to delay your opponent. Or building defences using standard building as walls. You need to build them anyway so why not make use of them ;)
I really really like Starcraft. Its one of those games wich is perfect. Theres no greater joy then to totaly annihalite your opponent with a force twice as small using all the little tricks you never saw as a noob. And ofc you still need good eye-hand coordination as microing 50 units at a time is not easy. Besides its one of those games like the wolfenstein series wich has been tweaked and tinkered on, and its almost perfectly balanced.
So, for all you people out there who are up to a change. Buy starcraft. Its only 5€ if you buy it online. Watch a few replays, download a few fragmovies and with some experience in other games you will be on your way soon. Biggest comparison between ET and SC is that the aggresive guy takes it all :)

Do you have an interesting website about the game? Community page or something, I dunnow as long as it has some info and stuff.
I would recommend it 2 any1 to play them both :)
