SLAC is out, it went downhills before that, but now it seems like it's all going better again. Besides that the usual stuff, summer is over and the flower of ET is going to bloom again like it does every winter ;)
Well the whine that I personally receive is the only one I can talk to you about ;) People used to scream aimbot way faster, right now most things they cry about are unhittability and/or lag. If people think you cheat AND you have SLAC on, they usually don't egoquit. It's all about the kind of opponent you search, best to search SLAC wars so the biggest hax-related sentence you get is "cu at list" :)
At times of No-PB, pretty much everyone who wanted to could hack in IRC wars, which is what most people who get "back into ET" will play most of the time. This doesn't mean everyone DID hack, but it means that everyone ASSUMED the other people hacked. You're no exception, I remember you telling me that I'll be busted soon because of my "humanized aimbot" during a random 3on3. :)
Right now with SLAC, the real number of hackers did apparently decrease because there's a major skilldrop at IRC wars and also the whine drastically decreased. In old times, when you played good, you'd get a gg wp from the enemy, at times of no-pb, you just got "cu at pbbans". That's what I call downhill.
