English mo****f***, do you speak it?

So here I was with my friend talking about grammar (I'm not the right persone to talk about it because, well... my talking skills are good, but writing is bad as it can get)

So is there a word "allot" ----> "a lot".

I google it and I found the answer, but what you think? Is it totally wrong to write on Internet or in Chat "allot"? If the sentence is for an example "still has allot of time" what means "still have plenty of time"?

Kinda wierd, because I always thought that is how you spell it :D dont even know why I had that kinda idea in my head. Maybe Internet..or.. hmm. Awsome always learning something new... everyday :D

It's "a lot". Having said that, "allot" is also a word, but it means something entirely different.

'Allot' does not have the same meaning as 'a lot', so, no. And nothing's wrong on the internet.

I think you mean grammar but in this case you're actually discussing spelling I believe. It is 'a lot' and not 'allot' in this context.

Allot is a word though, it is a verb (like to be, to walk, etc.) and it means something like 'to give' but that was not what you meant :)
