If you wanna use "send PM" and "add buddy" then use custom links.

Send PM = http://crossfire.nu/?x=message&mode=compose&to=USER_ID
Add Buddy = http://crossfire.nu/?x=user&mode=addbuddy&id=USER_ID

With USER_ID the id of the user you're addressing or want to add as a buddy.
It's in the URL of the user's profile. E.g. http://crossfire.nu/?x=user&mode=view&id=8771 has USER_ID 8771.

I can, but only on the dev server. The problem is that the search was only fixed on the live server, and the latest update delivered from dev to live, which overwrote the changes on the live server. Now the bug in the search is back and will be fixed with the next release, which is in a week or so.
