It's far easier to ship products to players, than money. Some friend from Italy wanted to send me some money, and it took a while till I got it(I didn't have a credit card, bank account at that time). Anyway, it's not the ESL ET Squad fault, we would like all players to receive their prize money as soon as possible...

It takes you 5 minutes to transfer money via the internet. To ship products you actually have to leave the house.

Conclusion: Wiring money is easier and faster.
