I've uploaded some of the key matches (povs) from the recent Intel Extreme Masters American Championships on my youtube. This tournament saw a phenomenal effort from deathmatch legend Vo0, who has obviously taken a liking to Quake Live, providing some seriously epic matches. painkiller, cpm, q3 and ql are all deathmatch games afaik

you should have followed the tournament...
could see that he just decided to switch back to quake after his long break. he has been a cpm player eversince. and quake live is definitely different to what he was used to..
in the beginning of the tournament, nobody would have thought he would make it into the playoffs but he constantly increased his performance.

actually a lot of people knew Vo0 would make it to the playoffs, he did it last year and already beat dahang in the online qualifier

but i also followed the groupstage matches a little bit and especially the ones of him..
He seemed to be totally out of shape having troubles against opponents who should be easybash for him.
