SLAC and avast

i downloaded SLAC yesterday, avast didnt find anything on it so i was glad i could play ET again.

few mins ago when i wanted to start up i got a warning from avast that it contains a malware worm virus named junkpoly (CRYP)

now i read the 1st post about putting avast off and all, but that just means that the junkpoly thingy can go into my computer because i have avast off. so i want to know if its save to go on with the download or not

all fullfeatured (some of the free versions dont) will have a place where you can ignore specific folder or files
