Configuratiescherm > Hardware en geluiden > muis > Opties voor de aanwijzer > Precisie van de aanwijzer verbeteren ( niet aanvinken )

hmm, I have windows 7. Had the same problem, but I did this and it solved it. Atleast I don't notice anything.

well you can notice a difference when you deactivate it ofc.
but still far away from direct input

1) Turn off Enhanced Pointer Precision
2) Use rinput with ET
3) ????
4) Profit!

No, really, Win7 doesn't have any accel in itself with the enhanced pointer precision turned off:

dunno but first I had no probs with it but then suddenly 2 months later it fucked up my smoothness

impossible, without rinput it looks like

mouse -> usbport -> windows driver -> game

and with its just like

mouse -> usbport -> game

so it does not affect your mouse at all

It wasn't somekind of placebo effect. I don't know if the problem really was caused by Rinput but atleast when I didn't use it my mouse felt smooth again.. it's weirdi mo

Use Rinput, ET mouse recording stuff is quite crap and I think it tends to have some acceleration..

I don't mind it though. Don't even notice.
