Was a post about this not long ago but didn't bother reading some fix, maybe press ALT + ENTER??? or r_uifullscreen 1?
look in drivers, press correct button
SOUNDS LIKE A TASK FOR MONITOR MAN

Oh, LCD.

It'll be scaling it in 4:3. Not sure if you can do that in OSD or what. Try

r_mode -1
r_customwidth 960
r_custom height 600
vid_restart
doesn't stretch that either.. got 960x600 in the middle and black around.. :d

Give me a few minutes!

E: Set with Stand (Kg)
4.2
Set without Stand (Kg)
4.05

ARE YOU SERIOUS?

My crt weighs 28KG

try: r_mode -1
r_customwidth 1920
r_custom height 1080
vid_restart
Parent
yea that works to get fullscreen but I don't like it so sharp picture.. would prefer r_mode 4 stretched :d
Parent
what graphics card?
Parent
Geforce 8800gts I think..

found this: http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/5251/dickv.jpg

I think that could do it? but everytime I try to change it, it goes back to display-built in stuff..
Parent
try do not scale. But the resolution in my first post (960x600) will work better on widescreen! :)
Parent
can't change it :d
Parent
your drivers are fucked up if its already on use built in display option , its the nvidia fixed aspect ratio that makes it have black bars, so fuck knows how your getting black bars without using that option ? lol weird.
Parent
You need to change the nvidia scaling option in your graphics drivers. You need to change the the option from "nvidia fixed aspect ratio" to one of the other options either "use monitors built in scaling" or"do not scale". The "nvidia fixed aspect ratio" option is whats causing the black bars at the sides so change that and your good to go!. Think the option to change it is under adjust desktop size or something like that its called in your nvidia drivers control panel.
Parent
yea but I have it at the built-in option and I guess it could work with NVIDIA scaling.. but I can't change it. Everytime I try and click "apply", it just changes back to built-in stuff..
Parent
seems like your drivers are a bit fucked up for some reason.
Parent
Im not sure but i think some lg monitors have the fixed aspect ratio built into them, try using the buttons on the monitor itself and look for a option to change the aspect ratio?
Parent
Yea, tried that but didn't find anything that would've helped..
Parent
It's called arc
Parent
capslock
Also install the inf file coming on disc with ur monitor
never seen the disc I guess..
Parent
Then find it on their website
