Brighter players models

I've go a question, anyone of you guys know the command how to make player model more visible, "reflective"? It helps in kind of dark maps (especialy at grush + radar), when I can excatly see my opponent running because the model is shining. Don't how to do it, but seen it e.g in joof's cfg

cheers

r_ignorehwgamma 1
r_gamma 3
And low r_mapoverbrightbits.

Ignorehwgamma makes the model glow when it's far away from you.

example from Winghaven's cfg:

ye that's r_mapoverbrightbits 1, I prefer 2 though : >

Enemies glow just as well, you just can't see them as well if the map is so bright.
Parent
none of what u said is true...
Parent
Why are they not true, mr allknow?
Parent
ur wrong about how ignorehwgamma works...
Parent
Enemies glow from a distance with ignorehwgamma on 99% of the occasions. It doesn't happen with hwgamma0.
Parent
its side effect of using setting u posted... that cvar got nothing to do with models glowing
Parent
It does since models appear brighter always when you use ignorehwgamma 1

r_intensity 1.5
also you can use saturation
make the map less dark
r_mapoverbrightbits " 1 "
Put everything at highest brightness, then use the Digital Vibrance / Saturation functions of your graphic card or screen to make the colors more vibrant. Makes the allied guys orange and the axis blue :D its fuckin awesome
Obvious chams are obvious

r_overbrightbits 1 ;)

combined with

a low mapoverbrightbits (makes the map dark, duh!)
and a high r_gamma if you still want to see something :-D
