Always a 2/3 year gap between the movies and with production on this being slow its no suprise that its estimated for 2012 release.

I don't think we will see any of the previous villains except maybe for Bane. To be honest I don't think we will see any villains with 'super-powers' more human like, going towards the organized crime type.

I'd personally love to see Tony Zucco in it as he's pretty cool and would be really great to cast, and also he'd fit in more with the realistic/modern theme Nolan uses. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_villains_in_The_Batman#Tony_Zucco Can't see anyone like Mr.Freeze or The Penguin being in it :p
