Clattemburg worst referee ever, no doubt.
its a fucking joke, really, just fucking ridiculous
lol at nani's celebration btw

and also for those that didn't watch the game, nani looked at the ref to see whether he could play on and the referee clearly tells him he can play on:

lol'd at other united players shouting on nani to score
Parent
ye.... you can see scholes was running to shoot the ball himself :D

what happened before?

Quote>Spuds haul Nani down for penalty
>Nani handles the ball thinking it's a penalty
>No penalty so Spuds keeper picks it up
>Game continues as if nothing had happened as Spuds are in possession of the ball
United feel hard done by as it's a penalty
>Then Spuds keeper is a spastic and thinks it's a free kick (LOL why?)
>Takes the free kick 18 yards away from where the ACTUAL handball took place, despite it not even being a freekick in the first place
>Nani maintains his concentration to score what would be his deserved goal (he would have scored if he hadn't been hauled down unfairly
>Spuds mad because they're retards
>Linesman flags AFTER the goal had been scored because he's a corrupt faggot and hates Manchester United

penalty appeal... not given, nani fell on the floor and then grabbed the ball with his hands... gomes picked up the ball with his hands and rolled the ball forward thinking it was a foul, then nani picked himself up from the floor looked at the ref, and put the ball in.
its the most ridiculous thing ive seen in football in quite a while, worse than the liverpool one.
theres just no logic behind it whatsoever.
it was soo obvious that a free-kick would be given but for some reason, the linesman didnt flag and the ref didnt whistle, even though it was pretty obvious.

so yeah... another fucked up utd goal gifted from the refs :)
Parent
so if nani touched the ball with his hand, the game should be stopped.
Parent
exactly, but the refs didnt whistle or flag, so no 'official' foul was given although it was massively assumed around the stadium.
its just a freak goal that shouldnt stand :s
Parent
more excuses utd are just the best

Bollox, watch it again, Nani got his shirt pulled twice then went down (yes i admit he does dive some) then he handled the ball as ALL players do when they think they should have a freekick, Spurs keeper is a retard thinking it was a free kick and picked the ball up, walked about 5 yards forward with it (if it was free kick then it would have been taken from the wrong place but anyway) put it on the ground (still no linesman flag or NO Ref whistle blown) put the ball on the ground (still no linesman flag) Scholes is aware that the ref has not blown his whistle so play still active, gestures to Nani who kicked it in the back of the net.

Linesman did not put his flag up till about 6 seconds after the ball crossed the line.
Players should always play to the whistle, lesson learnt, unlucky Spurs.

What a bullshit. When there is foul for defending team in such a place, goalkeeper always starts from a bit ahead. That's common and nobody has problem with that since few meters dont matter there - a kick would be 50-meter-long anyways.

Quoteanother fucked up utd goal gifted from the refs :)
:DDD
Blame Gomes who behaved very recklessly, not ref. I wonder if you raged that much 2 weeks ago when Mike Dean allowed Huddlestone's winner after the linesman had correctly flagged William Gallas offside? Or when Stoke City had a perfectly legitimate goal ruled out at the beginning of the season? Or if the ball went out of the line and Spurs had a chance to score?
Parent
i did, it shows how bloody rubbish the refs are, this isnt man utd's fault, they took the gift afterall which seemed legitimate to the refs, from their side, they did nothing wrong as nani even asked the ref if he can play, he said yes, its just annoying that common sense and logic is not so common
remember the pedro mendes goal from half pitch that was over the line when carroll was in goal! poor spurs, they probably would of lost anyway but ah well
Parent
In that point I totally agree with you. Yeah, I remember that game, should be a clear goal. But still referees are just people and make mistakes, like everyone. We really need video replays to decrease amount of those mistakes.
Parent
Play to the whistle, end of :)
they mad
Ah..
