I'm not sure. Nothing I can think of, in a way House is similar in the fact he's a smart guy who gives fuck all about what others think.

i am not talking about stargate but about battlestar galactica and there are 2. one from the 80s and then the remake which ended like a year ago. that remake is worth watching big time.

well fringe has a sci-fi setting and some overall plot (as all the series do nowadays). but each episode has like a seperate case. the setting however is rerally fun and if you enjoy a high profile prodctuion every now and then you should watch an episode or two (the 2 piltos are great).

the wire is a "cop show" but really different. each season focuses on one part of the town and its crimes. each episode contributes to the plot and its really about the details of the characters. it won many awards and is regarded as one of the best series ever made but its really hard to follow if you only see one episode a weed (originally in TV). thats why it never got the braod attention that it deserves (even tho it did win many awards as i said). its really like a couple hours long movie.

BSG (Battlestar Galactica) might sound really gay but its far from that. Its a sci-fi production that tells one continuous story over its 4(??cant remember??) seasons.
I would say if you like sci-fi its a must have. in fact our dear mister tosspot was obsessed with it and promoted it while it was still running (final episode like a year ago).
