Not everyone has to keep that high APM to perform well, just look at certain players like WhiteRa with only 120 APM, im not saying getting 300-500 APM is impossible but its certainly not needed for high level play
ROFL you guys... WhiteRa is one of the best SC2 players outside of korea, and the APM in SC2 is calculated differently, but everyone has far lower average APM than in SC:BW.

more like 200-250, and 180 is enough for any skill-level
E: Fine, Liquid.Jinro (winner MLGDallas) doesn't have that high average APM aswell (100-200-ish)
