So, for weeks now I have been working for 12 hours a day, in shit conditions and zerolike salary which is totally not what I had agreed with when I signed the contract.

Tonight I finally got pissed off and told the boss that I'm not supposed to work like this and I won't, that I want my normal hours and stuff back, he can fire me if he feels otherwise (I'm not gonna get fired pff, I'm the best worker there)

I basicly got a lot more time to focus on gaming now!

no, that working for 12 hours straight where getting to work and from work takes an extra 2 hours and the pay I got was not worth it. Plus the job was a fucking pain in the ass and salary was near zero

I already got 1-2 new offers which I'm browsing through right now, going to start in a week I guess. Btw I earned around 3€ per hour, would you spend 15 hours a day just for work 6 days a week for 3€ per hour? :p

3 euro per hour is pretty low here in the netherlands :p. and yes you're right, but if you liked the job why complain about it?

I didn't say I liked the job, I hated it, I just wasn't sure if I had any other options left but since the problems at my last job (who still owe me over 5000€) seem to be solving, i actually saw some documents, i'm covered till january :p

ye but imagine when you got to work for 12 hours, moving to work and back takes another extra, showering and etc in the morning and after an extra hour, 15 hours a day covered only to stuff related to my job. that leaves me with 9 hours of time to sleep, ET and real life activities. Not cool, not cool at all.

id say its great u got the guts to stand up for yourself but maybe u just overreacted...i dont know the "conditions" tough.

dude, the past year i worked for months where i did 20 hour shifts but the job was ok, the conditions were fine. This job requires 12 hours of constant attention, standing up, constant hard labour for 3€ per hour + the extra time it takes for me to get to work and home.

even i get 6,50 and even tough im overpaid (sitting in front of the computer, doing easy stuff like writing, phone blabla) this aint much for vienna, usually u get like 8 euro but all my kollegas there get even less money, they dont know about this :D

well a pretty big debt to me from my old job seems to be arriving in weeks, a really large sum for me. and until that i can handle myself and from that point im covered till january but i already got 1-2 offers from a few places where I can work as someone I actually like for a better salary, gotta keep my choices open. Might even go to UK, got a chance like that too.
