Didn't like the U-Turn of Dexter at all... he was extremely professional and careful for three Seasons and then acts like a total retard all of a sudden. (Yeye, he became a dad...)
Oh I totally agree don't get me wrong. I just think season 4 was a lot more engaging the 2 or 3. There have been many inconsistencies in the plot since season 1, but I can overlook that just because even the bad seasons of Dexter are better than, for example, the best seasons of LOST.
The episode back when they find "Dan the Dentist" has many holes in it. For instance Deb and Vince trail the blood to the crime scene so it is obvious that the crime scene was larger than the place where they ended up dead. Also there were like 4 bullet holes in the wall which they just seemed not to see... but they overlooked it. I personally didn't mind the neat ending to that because it was so funny to watch masuka acting out his prediction of the event during the monologue. When masuka remarked on the hose nozzle I was too busy on the floor to even remember how they ended up there.
I really disliked season 3, felt like it was lacking a purpose. In my opinion: season 1> 4=2 > 3.
But as you said, personal opinion. Though for the life of me I can not understand why the storyline with Miguel in season 3 would appeal to anyone.
the way they compared dexter to the trinity and how he found so many similarities and saw him as a role model somehow is just a brilliance in a paper, i don't think theres a series with some much brilliance in it...i can barely even express myself now towards this series because everytime i think about it the word "brilliant" comes straight to mind
all 4 seasons were fucking awesome, ye fifth u can call mediocre. its so boring to see that he isnt getting busted + thingy with boyd's wallet, really :DDDDDDDDDDDDD bullshit
