Imho EC XI was the best Eurocup ET has ever seen. I personally remember damn well how kreaturen made their famous defence on oasis spamming the main entrance towards the axis stronghold. And ofc the famous game of u96d vs parodia with Nights godly panzerfaust on radar. Discuss.

What teams were playing back then? I can only seem to remember saevus, dignitas and Dsky. (not that those were noname teams ofc)

no dignitas back then, but I remember gs, qip/sI, [M]/AR, 141/j52, u96d, eSr, insanity, insane

Saevus was EC X, Dignitas were playing in the revived RTCW Eurocup at that time which eH/iN won. However, I think you'll find qip was Summer Cup which Saevus also won, I casted qip vs sae on Railgun and Supply Depot i think, and qip folded just before that EC if i recall.

Give me 10 minutes and I'll grab u the best moment (for me) in EC X!

Just checked CB, I meant EC X. qip were there (as sI) but didn't make it to playoffs (sae, j52, eSr progressed from their group) and the maplist was great despite battery :P

Just to give clarity, he was the last man standing. Whole team spawn camped, he hid after getting an earlier frag and then bumf, perfect timing.

u96d lost to helix in this same Eurocup - And the oasis defence is way older than Kreaturen :)

That was my favourite EC also - it was the one I really got into adminning at a high level, and it had some awesome games. Plus two teams (in u96d and parodia) that were at the top of their games and very evenly matched, which made for a great final.

I think this season should be awesome as well - lots of teams with the potential to beat each other (and I know I say this every season, but this one it's true imo)

They were out there. Most demo's aren't available anymore because CB always deletes them and other sites don't have a big selection.
